*Please note:
- At Calida we do not engage in facial waxing (except for eyebrows) due to the long-term negative effects of waxing / plucking / threading on facial hair.
- Allow at least 2 weeks of hair growth for underarm, leg and bikini waxing. Hair needs to be at least ¼ inch long for waxing service to be successful.
- Wear loose clothing, preferably cotton, before and after waxing.
- A mild anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen) can be taken 1 hour in advance of waxing service to reduce discomfort.
- Take care to Shower before Waxing Service & Remove eye make-up before a facial wax / tint.
- Exfoliate regularly before and after wax (wait 3-4 days after waxing to start exfoliating).
- Waxing done during or just before menstrual cycle is slightly more uncomfortable – keep this in mind when booking.
- Refrain from UV exposure ( sun or sunbed) at least two days before and 24 hours after waxing service.
- A Client Consultation is necessary before commencing any wax service.
