Calida is a local Prince George business currently focussed mainly on hair removal by means of Electrolysis, which is the only true  permanent hair removal method and the only permanent treatment recognised by the FDA (Food and Drug Agency). When you come to Calida Electrolysis Studio for Permanent Hair Removal you can expect the highest standards of competence, absolute commitment to excellence and complete privacy and confidentiality in a beautiful clean and relaxing studio. Calida Electrolysis has been a Registered Business since beginning 2012. After each client the treatment room and instruments are cleaned and sanitized to hospital and Public Health Protection and Desease Prevenion standards where I adhere to the Guidelines for Personal Service Establishments set by the Ministry of Health. Needles or Filaments are for one time use only and then disposed.

Professional Training, Skill and Experience are essential for safe and Permanent Hair Removal. Each client’s goal is to have permanent hair removal and a positive experience with the use of the best products, experience and techniques available. Chantal Peacock is a Certified Professional Electrologist and Registered member of COPE – The Canadian Organization for Professional Electrologists – Setting the highest standards of practice for members.

About Chantal

Chantal Peacock is a Certified Professional Electrologist and a member of COPE  (www.electrolysis.ca). In 2011-2012 Chantal completed the extensive training requirements of over 500 hours of practical and theoretic training, the highest level of training in Electrology in Canada. In 2019 Chantal completed a Certification in Telangiectasia or Vascular Blemishes using Electrolysis (diathermy and electrocoagulation) techniques to administer Advanced Cosmetic Procedures for the treatment and removal of Spider Veins, Skin Tags, Blood Spots, Facial Thread Veins and various other minor skin blemishes.

Along with being the owner of Calida Electrolysis, Chantal has also served her community as a Youth Worker. She studied Law and Psychology at NWU (North-West University), South Africa. She completed a two year diploma in Counselling Skills at East-Kent College, UK and worked as a Occupational Therapy Thecnical Instructor in Acute Psychiatry at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent and was a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists while living in England between 1998-2005. Chantal and her family has called Prince George and the Beautiful British Columbia, Canada home since 2005.

Chantal offer anyone who enters her clinic a warm welcome, a listening ear, excellence in service as well as education in the process, giving people the confidence to make the best choices for their individual needs. This might even mean a referral to another professional or health care practitioner if this is in the best interest of the client.  She is constantly looking at new ways to build on her business to best suit the needs of her clients and her community. Attending national and international training events to further her education whenever the opportunity arise.
